Minibus

Rushton Minibus Serving Our Community

Rushton Parish has had a community minibus for over 40 years. The village scheme was set up to help transport local children to school and residents to nearby towns and today continues to serve our community.

The Rushton Community Minibus is owned and operated by Rushton Parish Council on a not-for-profit basis, and all income from fares, concessionary fares and privates hire is used to operate and maintain the vehicle for the Rushton Parish Community.

The Rushton Community Minibus is managed, administered, driven and maintained by a team of local volunteers. All of our drivers have undertaken and have been approved by MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) a national recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers.
